Music is a fundamental part of my work. I create and mix music videos for any kind of live event. My live shows can be thematic (80s and 90s music) or original with current music mixed in a conceptual filmic narrative in the case of ELECTRO TV and HUGO REDROSE’S VIDEO MIXTAPES.

EN MIS TIEMPOS
This investigation project was initiated by the NADIE collective and took place during 2023 within the frame of Art for Change.
The artist Nieves Galiott, Rafael Obrero, Juan Bolaños and Ángel Ramirez implemented a one year project which culminated in a showcase which took place in Fundación Gala (Córdoba) between december 2023 and january 2024. Hugo Lasarte’s contribution consisted in a short documentary and a video essay, also projected during the final showcase.
EL ARTE QUE AMA A LA CIENCIA / COREOGRAFÍA VITAE
“Installation designed by the architect and founder of Equipo 57, Juan Serrano, alongside Antonio Gil, double bass professor and visual artist, and Juan Manuel Ortiz, choir professor and origami expert. The project has involved collaboration from actress Irene Lázaro and video creator Hugo Lasarte, with the piece titled ‘double entendre’.

“The ceramicist and sculptor Hisae Yanase, the visual artist Antonio Blázquez, the photographer Pilar Mayorgas, and the video creator Hugo Lasarte have fallen in love with science. They have done so after saying ‘I do’ to the proposal from the Science and Innovation Cultural Unit of the University of Córdoba, ‘The Art that Loves Science,’ included in their 2nd Annual Dissemination Plan, co-funded by FECYT.”

Short format pieces in which I have participated as an audiovisual technical assistant or as a writer and director in the case of the short cine-play ‘An Italian Story.’ Together with Irene Lázaro, we have also carried out creative actions for the University of Córdoba, such as ‘1984’.
